How does it work?
I will contact you, we'll talk so I can understand your needs and desires for utilizing my personal chef services. From there we can meet for your no-obligation consultation. During this time we will discuss your likes and dislikes, any food allergies you may have, as well as any dietary restrictions. I will also take a look at your kitchen. I will provide you an estimate of your costs for the service you desire and then we can set up a designated “cook date” that works for your schedule. After your cook date has been established, a menu will be created from my One Happy Chef recipe library. The menu and recipes will be personalized for your specific wants and needs. I will then send it to you for approval. Once I have an agreement on your menu, I just wait until your cook date. The morning of your cook date, I will shop for all fresh ingredients and head to your home to begin producing your menu. Upon completion, your food will be served, or packaged, labeled, and refrigerated or frozen, depending on your specifications. Finally, I will clean your kitchen and restore it to its original state. If you are receiving a meal plan, I will provide you with detailed instructions for heating each meal, so all you will have to do is pick an item from your personal menu, heat, and eat!

What are the benefits of having a personal chef?
I give you 12 hours of your week back because I am planning your menus, researching the recipes, shopping for your fresh groceries, preparing, labeling, storing and cleaning up after creating your well balanced meals. Eating a well balanced diet is an obvious benefit of the tasty recipes I prepare. You will see the reduction of wasteful spending on groceries you throw away, dining out, fast food and take out food when you subscribe to my in home meal service plan.
What areas do you service?
North Fulton County and the communities of Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, John's Creek and Cumming. I serve outside this area upon request.
Is there a contract involved?
I have a “Service Agreement”. It is a statement of the service I will provide you, the cost for those services and the dates when I'll be serving you. I have found this helps us both to understand what is expected of each other.
Are you insured?
Yes. One Happy Chef carries liability insurance to set your mind at ease while I am in your home.
Can you design menus for my specific diet?
Yes. One Happy Chef is very knowledgeable in restrictive and alternative diets. Whether you eat certain foods by choice (vegetarian or vegan) or are on strict guidelines due to medical reasons like sodium, gluten or sugar restrictions, I will work to design a menu relating to your needs. Are you missing your Mom's cooking and have her old chicken recipe? I can re-create that dish for you! Do you want to lose a few pounds so you can turn heads at your class reunion? I can provide you with calorie conscious tasty meals.
How much do your services cost?
My customers tell me that my in home meal service costs them less than what they were paying in groceries they threw out, dining in restaurants, fast food and take out. My in home meal service plan includes every detail from initial consultation, meal investigation, recipe customization, personalized menu planning, shopping, meal preparation, storage containers, labels, heating instructions, kitchen clean up and my fuel costs. One Happy Chef provides an extremely personalized service, and each service is designed especially for you, and no one else.
For services, One Happy Chef operates on a fee plus the cost of fresh groceries basis. The price of your service depends upon the number of people I'll be cooking for, the menu you select, (which determines grocery cost) and the date you want me to come to your home to cook. The services are personalized to each individual.
